Eric Spoth Named Liberty League All-Star

Sophomore Eric Spoth of the Clarkson University Golf team was rewarded for his standout second season with the Golden Knights on Thursday when the Liberty League announced its end-of-year awards and all-stars.

Spoth, named a Liberty League All-Star Honorable Mention, led the Golden Knights in scoring average with 75.95 strokes per 18 holes in 11 tournaments and 20 total rounds. Spoth as twice named as Liberty League Performer of the Week in the fall and was also picked for the Liberty League Honor Roll on two other occasions. He won the SUNY Canton Invitational (9/19/2024) with a five-under 67 which included a hole in one and was also second with a 70 at the Clarkson Invitational (9/3/2024). He was also runner-up in a pair of two-day tournaments in late September, scoring 147 for the multi-day events each time. He shot 80 or better in 15 full rounds during the season.
