The Schedule:
Tuesday – 7.5K Classic
Wednesday – Freestyle Sprint
Friday – 15K Freestyle
Saturday – Classic Team Sprint

The History: Clarkson has won nine total national championships at the USCSA level, taking the top spot for the men on four occasions and the women five times. The first ever championship came for the women in 1999, and then the men went back-to-back in 2003-2004. Both teams won the title in 2012 and then the Clarkson women won three out of four championships in 2016, 2017, and 2019. Most recently, Clarkson's men took the top spot in 2024, just edging out the second place team by two points.

The Team: The Golden Knights will be sending 10 student-athletes to one of their most frequently utilized courses just outside of Lake Placid. For the men, Silas Bartol, Torsten Brickley, Nathaniel Burke, Matthew Clarner, Oliver Dolcino, Adam Jansen, and Brayden Patch will make the trek into the mountains, while the women will be represented by Janneke Baks, Skylar Francis, and Clare Janas. Last March, Francis was 36th out of 59 skiers overall with her top showing coming in the 7.5K Freestyle where she was 31st. Similarly, the Clarkson men had their top performances in the 7.5K Freestyle a year ago. Clarner took seventh in that event en route to taking 19th overall among the 81 competitors. Closer together in the standings, Adam Jansen (44th overall), Torsten Brickley (45th overall) and Silas Bartol (47th overall) regularly competed for the scoring spots in Clarkson's team tally. Oliver Dolcino wasn't at the nationals a year ago, but he did compete in the 2024 USCSA championships in Lake Placid, placing 35th overall among 61 skiers.
