Fallon Griffin Chosen Liberty League Rookie of the Week

After missing all of last season to injury, sophomore Fallon Griffin has gotten off to a solid start for the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team and was rewarded for those early results as she was selected Liberty League Rookie of the Week when the conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday afternoon.

Griffin averaged 9.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game over the course of two contests this past week. She produced 12 points in an overtime loss to SUNY Canton in the season-opener on Tuesday.

Junior Bella Doyle was chosen for the Liberty League's Honor Roll, averaging 20.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest. On the men's side, Matthew Parent was also selected for Liberty League Honor Roll, scoring 12.0 points per game coming off the bench for the Golden Knights.
