The Series: The teams last met during the first weekend of conference play in December. Alexis Kress led the way for the Knights with a career-best 14 points against RPI but 21 points from Siena Smith lifted the Engineers to a 68-49 victory. The Garnet Chargers would tally 20+ points in the final three quarters of the first meeting while never allowing Clarkson to score more than 13 a quarter in a 91-45 decision on December 6th.

Key Stats for Clarkson (10-13, 6-10 Liberty League): The Knights rebounded from a loss at Skidmore on Friday with a 62-52 win at William Smith on Saturday. Addie Kea led the way with 25 points and four assists, the junior is averaging 17.8 points per game over her last four outings. Fallon Griffin added 20 against the Herons bringing her season average to 14.3 points per game which puts her top of the league. That point per game total however, would not even rank second in the league in any year dating back to the 2006-07 season. Griffin enters Friday with 329 points on the season, 18 ahead of the next closest player, Jackie Malley of St. Lawrence University.

Key Stats for Union (18-5, 14-2 Liberty League): The Garnet Chargers enter the weekend atop the Liberty League standings and have won their past six contests. A 69-48 win over Bard on Saturday marked the most conference wins in a season in program history since 2003-04. The team ranks first in the league in points per game (66.8), field goal percentage (0.409) and opponent field goal percentage (0.334). Jelena Perovic surpassed the 1,000 point milestone on February 6th with a 19-point performance versus Skidmore. The senior leads Union with 13.4 points per game, putting her at third overall in the league. Kate Peek (10.7 ppg) and Olivia Cunningham (10.6 ppg) also average in double-figures with both players having started every game they have appeared in this season.

Key Stats for RPI (16-7, 11-5 Liberty League): With sole possession of third place in the conference standings, the Engineers come into the final Liberty League road series having won six of their last eight games. Both losses came at the hands of Union and RIT, both of whom are above RPI in the current standings. Tied going into the fourth quarter with Ithaca on Saturday, the team outscored the Bombers 20-9 en route to a 74-54 win. Siena Smith is the only player averaging double-figures in scoring and had a season-high 22 points against Ithaca.
