The Men: The Green and Gold will be sending Evan Baird, Frank Consolazio, James Lynch, Tyler Nickels, Drew Reigelsperger, Riley Sawyer, Kaleb Swartley, and Caleb Tribotte. A year ago, it was Reigelsperger who was the top runner at the NCAA Mideast Regionals (held at Westfield State in Massachusetts). He finished the event in 26:40.5, a time he has eclipsed twice this year including at the conference championships. Sawyer was second among Clarkson runners at the league race and has trimmed at least 10 seconds off his race times through five 8000-meter events so far this season. Freshman Frank Consolazio will be seeking a sub-27 minute time, something he has done twice this year, a season in which he was named Liberty League Rookie of the Week on two occasions. Senior Tyler Nickels and freshman James Lynch were separated by just a second at the conference championship, and Nickels also posted a sub-27 minute race time at last year's NCAA Regional.

The Women: Last year, it was Gianna Capoccia who led the Knights at the NCAA Mideast Regionals, but she will miss this season's event, leaving it up to Megan Edwards, Skylar Francis, Elizabeth Kraynak, Kelly Lahiff, Meilin Lamanna, Kylie Nowicki, or Alexandra Simon to be the team's new leader. The most likely of that group probably comes down to either Simon or Francis. For the season, Francis has a faster average time over 6000 meters, but in recent runs it has been Simon with the quicker pace. In the past three races, Simon is averaging 26:02.1, just a slight edge over the time of Francis, which is 26:03.5. Simon has topped Francis in the last two races, but Francis is capable of a sub-26 minute time as evidenced by her 25:42.9 in Pennsylvania back in early October. Megan Edwards has also upped her performances as of late, finishing below 28 minutes in the last two championship races at the CCOC and Liberty League events.
