The Series: The Green and Gold are 37-24 all-time against SUNY Potsdam, but have gone just 2-2 in the past four meetings. One of those wins came a year ago at Maxcy Hall, when the Golden Knights went on a 22-10 run in the fourth quarter to gain a 61-56 victory.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-2): The Golden Knights currently have a lopsided score sheet, as three of the top four scorers in the Liberty League are members of Clarkson. Bella Doyle (17.5 points per game), Cassidy Dumont (17.0 ppg), and Raelin Burns (16.3 ppg) are all at least one point above the fifth-highest scorers in the conference. Each has scored in double figures in all four games this year. Doyle has the best percentages, shooting 46.3% from the floor, 47.6% from beyond the 3-point arc, and 90.9% from the free throw line. She also is adding in 9.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game. Freshman Addie Kea has also come on as late, averaging 13.5 points per contest in the last two games.

Key Stats for SUNY Potsdam (3-1): For as balanced as Clarkson's top three scorers have been in the early stages of 2023-24, the Bears are at the opposite end, getting an impressive workload from graduate student Jakia Howard. A year ago, Howard put up 23 points and 12 rebounds, including eight offensive boards, in the loss against the Golden Knights, and she is close to mirroring those numbers as averages this year. Howard is producing 22.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per contest, shooting 45.6% from the floor. In three of those four games, Howard has double-doubles in which she topped 26 points. Next on the scoring list for the Bears is Xy'El Bradford, who is making 52.0% of her shots for 10.3 points per contest.
