The Series: This will be the 60th all-time meeting between the two teams, with Clarkson holding a 22-31-6 mark against the Engineers. The Golden Knights last won in 2017 and RPI has gone 3-0-2 in the past five meetings, though Clarkson has been at home in just one of those five games.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-4-0, 4-3-0 Liberty League): There is currently a logjam of teams in the mix for playoff appearances, with Clarkson tied for second in the conference in points (12), but the Knights are one of only three teams (and two playoff contenders) in the Liberty League to have already played seven contests. Senior Nolan Grady ranks second in the conference in goals scored with six and has 13 points overall. Five of his goals have come during Liberty League contests, the most in the conference. Clarkson's defense has allowed 10 shots or more in just three of its 12 games this year, and has allowed only 38 shots on goal the entire season.

Key Stats for Rensselaer (6-5-2, 3-3-0 Liberty League): After picking up back-to-back wins this past weekend, the Engineers are back in contention for a playoff spot. Josh Guadiano, a two-time Liberty League All-Star, ranks among the conference leaders in points with 14 this year (5-4-14). In 54 career games, he has 68 points with 28 goals and 12 assists. Brady Van Epps (5-1-11) and Julio Rodriguez (4-0-8) are also among the team leaders in points, with Rodriguez scoring three of his four goals in the past four games.
