The Series: Hamilton College used to be a member of the Liberty League but left the conference more than a decade ago. The last time the two teams met was in 2010 when the Continentals came away with a 3-2 win in double overtime. Clarkson's last win came against Hamilton in 1998, but the series is generally a close one, with the Knights holding a record of 21-26-6 all-time.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-1-1): Named Liberty League Rookie of the Week once this year, Bodie Smith is tied for fourth in the conference in total points (7) and is one of several players tied for third in the Liberty League in goals with three. Sophomore goalkeeper Ian Burgos has played all 360 minutes in goal for the Knights thus far, posting a 0.75 goals against average and .786 save percentage.

Key Stats for Hamilton (1-1-1): Unlike Clarkson, the Continentals are still sorting out their goaltending situation as three different players have seen time between the posts, including two different starters. Offensively, Troy Miller has already matched his point total from a year ago thanks to a pair of goals. Oliver Mylon has done the same, scoring one goal and adding one assist.
