FRESHMAN YEAR (2024-25): In his freshman season at Clarkson, Brassington made a smooth transition to college hockey, appearing in 38 games and recording 7 points (2 goals, 5 assists). Known for his poise and smart decision-making, Brassington played a reliable two-way game, finishing the year with a +5 rating and 45 shots on goal...He picked up his first collegiate point early in the season and scored his first goal in a key road win over St. Lawrence in January...Brassington's steady play and strong hockey IQ earned him a regular role on the blue line, and his development throughout the season positions him well for an expanded role in 2025–26. With continued growth, he’s expected to be a key part of Clarkson’s defensive core moving forward.
