The Series: The Golden Knights are 21-26 all-time against Skidmore, but had a nice winning streak of 14 straight matches from 2013-2023 that saw Skidmore win only three sets. Skidmore has won two of the past three matches, though the Knights eliminated the Thoroughbreds from the conference tournament in 2024. The Knights are also down five matches in the all-time series against SUNY Potsdam (51-56), but that has turned over the past two decades, as Clarkson has won 29 straight matches against the Bears, with Potsdam winning only 16 sets during that run.

Key Stats for Clarkson (9-2): Freshman Chase Chudoba won the Liberty League Rookie of the Week honor on Monday thanks to a .383 hitting percentage and solid contributions across the board. The first-year middle is now hitting .290 on the year with 2.21 kills per set while ranking sixth in the Liberty League in blocks per set (0.87) and ranking tied for second in the conference in solo blocks (13).

Key Stats for Skidmore (7-4): The Thoroughbreds are led by Chloe Heitman on offense, as she averages 2.98 kills per set to go along with 0.40 aces per game. Natalie Pedersen is not far behind at 2.89 kills per set. Setter Catriona Hoelperl is third in the Liberty League in aces per set at 0.67 and also contributes 8.69 assists and 2.10 digs per set.

Key Stats for SUNY Potsdam (4-7): The Bears look to bolster their numbers with a match against Paul Smith's on Friday night prior to the tri-match on Saturday, as Ashlee Hagerman hopes to improve on her 2.52 kills, 0.52 aces, and 2.65 digs per set. Noelle Redeye ranks second for the Bears in kills at 1.84 per set while also averaging 0.66 blocks per set, including 14 solo efforts.
