The Series: The last five doubleheaders between Skidmore and Clarkson have resulted in sweeps, and if that streak holds form it tips in the Golden Knights' favor as the home team has swept the doubleheader every matchup dating back to 2017, the last time the two teams split.

Key Stats for Clarkson (20-13, 8-4 Liberty League): The Golden Knights need just one win this weekend to claim the third spot in the conference standings and avoid the play-in game as Clarkson holds tiebreakers against Rensselaer with splits against both Rochester and Ithaca (the Engineers were swept by both teams). Devin Fitzpatrick looks to put the finishing touches on an outstanding 2025 season as she leads the conference in home runs (12) and has hit five of those in conference play. She has also gone 12-5 from the circle with a 1.82 earned run average and 78 strikeouts and only 15 walks in 115.1 innings.

Key Stats for Skidmore (11-21, 3-9 Liberty League): The Thoroughbreds are yet to be eliminated, but a lot of things would have to go right for Skidmore to reach the play-in game. Skidmore will rely on its bats for victories this weekend as the team is batting .314 for the year, led by Jessica Nachamie's .415/.472/.734 slash line with six home runs and 40 RBI. Elle Harrison is hitting .387 with 19 steals in 21 tries and Sam Waters is at .375 with 21 swipes in 22 attempts. Isabel Moreno also slugged three home runs on Wednesday as the latest Skidmore hitter to go yard. However, Skidmore's arms have been very hittable in 2025, allowing 361 hits and 85 walks with only 69 strikeouts in 198 innings, a .378/.427/510 slash line for opposing offenses.
