The Series: This will be the 40th all-time meeting between the Golden Knights and Vassar, with the Green and Gold winning 25 and losing 14. Clarkson has won four straight against the Brewers, including a sweep in 2023. A decade ago, the Knights and New Paltz had a budding rivalry as the two teams met in the NCAA Regional Finals two years in a row, with Clarkson winning in five in 2012 and then in four in 2013. The last time the two teams met, the Knights won in three during the 2016 season. Clarkson hasn't faced Baruch since 2011, but has a 3-1 all-time mark against the team, including a sweep in 2011.

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-10, 0-2 Liberty League): The Golden Knights will have a different offense this weekend as Ashley Currier will take over as the team's primary setter and the Knights go back to running a 5-1. Currier's overall numbers will see gains and losses in her new role, with her setting numbers of 2.78 assists likely to go up. Marin Hangliter (2.51 kills per set), Allyson Treichel (2.45 kps), and Grace Hanson (1.91 kps) will be Currier's most frequent targets.

Key Stats for Vassar (2-9, 0-0 Liberty League): The Brewers have two hitters that do most of the damage in Maura McAusland (3.23 kps) and Holland Kaplan (2.78 kps). The pair also contribute on defense with 2.63 and 2.16 digs per set, respectively. Ellie Kogan chips in 2.68 digs per set and also has 0.56 aces per game.

Key Stats for New Paltz (7-7): The Hawks are aggressive from the service line, averaging 3.16 aces per set (161 total) but also have seen their share of miscues from the line with 180 service errors. New Paltz has had a little trouble on serve receive, suffering from 2.73 aces per set by opponents. Elena Savage runs the offense with 7.44 assists per set and is one of numerous players averaging better than 0.40 aces per game for New Paltz.

Key Stats for Baruch (7-4): Just like New Paltz, the Bearcats get plenty of points from the service line. Baruch has 148 aces overall, approaching nearly four per set (3.89 aps). Karen Pozo Castro is just under one ace per set and also distributes the ball for 8.66 assists per set. Isabella Doring plays all around, averaging 2.14 kills, 2.47 digs, and 0.83 aces per set.
