Burns Named Liberty League Rookie of the Week Once Again

Freshman Conley Burns of the Clarkson University Volleyball team helped the Golden Knights close out its regular season on a high-note on Thursday, and that impressive performance earned her Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors.

In just the single match of the week for the Knights, Burns posted 16 kills and a .538 hitting percentage in a three-set sweep of crosstown foe SUNY Potsdam. She also registered a pair of aces and seven digs in the win.

This was the fifth time in 11 weeks that Burns was chosen as Liberty League Rookie of the Week. One of the top newcomers in the region, Burns is averaging 3.32 kills per set in 2025, placing her eighth in the conference in that category.
