Prior to his previous role, Clem built a diverse foundation in coaching, administration, and scientific research. He served as a Student Athletic Administrator at Saint Michael's College while also conducting cellular and molecular neuroscience research through the college's research program. His experiences have helped develop a leadership style centered on organization, communication, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to student-athlete success.

Clem graduated from Saint Michael's College in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry. He was named to the Dean's List five times and received the department's award for the highest GPA among graduating Neuroscience majors.

In addition to his academic achievements, Clem has contributed to published scientific research, serving as a co-author of the peer-reviewed article "Neurodegeneration in a Novel Model System: Failed Microtubule-Mediated Cell Adhesion and Unraveling of Macroglia" in The Journal of Comparative Neurology. He also presented research at the Eastern Psychological Association Annual Conference in Boston and participated in Saint Michael's College's Solutions for Social Impact showcase.

Outside of coaching and academics, Clem has gained valuable professional experience through positions in athletics, customer service, recreation, and facility operations, including work at Killington Golf Course, Home Depot, and as a certified lifeguard.

His combination of coaching expertise, scientific training, and proven leadership provides a well-rounded approach to athlete development, both on and off the field of competition.
