After an extensive search to replace Tony Maci, Clarkson Women's Head Coach has announced the addition of Kris Hogg to the Golden Knights Coaching Staff.
Kris will start right away working with the teams this week as they prepare for the return of the coach Kris replaced, Maci and the Union Garnet Chargers.  
Kris comes to Potsdam from Kelowna, BC where he has gained extensive experience in coaching and recruiting.   Kris's most recent experience was with Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy, now know as RINK HOCKEY ACADEMY KELOWNA, where he was Director and Head Coach for the Female Prep Team, and the 16U Varsity Male Prep before that.  Hogg led in the mentorship and development of some of Canada's most promising hockey athletes, including direction and development of programs, recruitment strategies, and staff leadership.  Current Golden Knight, Raedyn Spademan is a product of Rink Hockey Academy along with former Knight, Sara Swiderski.
As a player, Kris played for Kamloops and Lethbridge in the WHL (Major Junior) and was a 4th round draft pick in the 2004 NHL Draft of the Calgary Flames.  He played professionally in several leagues including a stint with the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL.  
Kris graduated from Lakehead University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Human Resouce/Industrial Relations. Â
