FRESHMAN YEAR (2023-24): Hurry was selected to the ECAC All Rookie Team and named a finalist for ECAC Rookie of the Year..She scored 5 goals and 10 assists from the point to lead all freshman for Clarkson...She contributed 3 power play goals and had a +20 rating...Named ECAC All Academic and named an AHCA/Krampade Academic All American.
The Back of the Hockey Card: Keira is a 5’9” left shot Defense from London, Ontario….Hurry played in 36 games for the London Jr. Devilettes, scoring 9 goals and 28 assists for 37 points.
Get to know Keira: Keira is the daughter of Shelly Hurry & David Hurry…has a brother, Davin Hurry, attending Western University…Enjoys the outdoors…Played on the 2023 U18 Women's National Team Canada and won the gold medal at the 2023 U18 Women's IIHF World Championships… Graduated from London South Collegiate Institute in 2023…Will major in Biology.
On choosing Clarkson: I chose Clarkson because it was a smaller school with a successful women's hockey team with great coaches and players, lots of academic options, beautiful campus in a nice city, and a welcoming environment. Also recruited by Penn State, Yale, & St. Lawrence.
