Biography
A highly regarded goaltender from the Czech Republic, Aneta Šenková joins Clarkson after a standout international and junior career. Šenková rose to prominence with her stellar performance at the 2024 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship, where she backstopped Czechia to a historic silver medal finish. She was named the tournament’s Best Goaltender and earned a spot on the Media All-Star Team after posting a 2.42 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage in six games.
Šenková developed through the HC Stadion Litomerice system, competing primarily on boys' teams before transitioning to full-time women’s hockey. She spent the 2024–25 season with the Kingston Jr. Ice Wolves in Canada’s top U22 women’s league, continuing her development at a high level. Known for her poise in the crease, quick reflexes, and excellent rebound control, Šenková brings a composed and technically sound presence in goal.
She is expected to be a key piece in Clarkson’s future goaltending corps, while also continuing to represent Czechia on the international stage.
