Rob Frost

Rob Frost was announced as Clarkson's Assistant Athletic Trainer and Head Athletic Trainer for the men’s hockey team in the summer of 2023.
Frost returns to Northern NY after a stint at Yale and the United States Hockey League, where he worked with the Sioux City Musketeers as their trainer, strength coach and equipment manager.
Frost, who also has professional hockey experience as a head trainer, spent time in the American Hockey League with a pair of Buffalo Sabres’ affiliates, the Portland Pirates (2008-2011) and the Rochester Americans (2011-2015). 
In addition to his time with Yale in college hockey, Frost also was an athletic trainer for St. Cloud State University from 2001 to 2003 while earning his masters in sports management, and then he served as strength coach and trainer for the St. Lawrence University men’s hockey team from 2003 to 2008.
Frost received his BA in athletic training from Bethel University (St. Paul, Minn.) in 1999. He is a certified athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist. One of his volunteer experiences was a trip with Athletes in Action to East and West Africa to work as a trainer and strength coach.
