Biography
Sophomore Year (2020-21): Came in at the mid way point of the season once UAA announced they were canceling their season. Appeared in 12 games scoring 1 goal and 2 assists.
Nick is a transfer from the University of Alaska Anchorage, where he played under former Golden Knight, Matt Curley. Transferred after UAA canceled their season and announcement of dropping Hockey as a varsity sport.
At UAA in 2019-20: Scored 16 points in 35 games, which ranked third on the team. Had 7 goals and 9 assists. Recorded first career point with an assist in 2-1 loss at Maine on Oct. 12th. Was named WCHA Rookie of the Week after scoring two goals and one assist in 4-0 win over Alaska Fairbanks on Oct. 26th.
Before College: Wicks scored 121 points (36-85) in 177 games during his three year career with the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL. He tallied 13 points (6-7) in 2016-17, 47 points (12-35) in 2017-18 and 61 points (18-43) in 2018-19. Wicks served as a captain for the Centennials. 2016 graduate of South Delta Secondary School.
