The Schedule:
Tuesday – Women's Giant Slalom
Wednesday – Men's Giant Slalom
Thursday – Women's Slalom
Friday – Men's Slalom

The History: The Golden Knights will be challenging for history this week as both teams are strong competitors for podium spots. The best combined finish that the two teams have ever had came in 2015 when the men took third overall and the women were fourth. Just last year, both teams finished fourth in the overall standings. Back in 2014, the men took second overall and the women were sixth for another solid collective showing. Also, in 2018 at Whiteface Mountain, the Golden Knights' men won their only national race when the squad took the giant slalom team, topping Sierra Nevada by .08 seconds thanks to the trio of Andrew Yoviene, Thomas Daigle, and Greg Murray.

The Men: At the USCSA Eastern Regionals, the Knights placed second in the giant slalom and fourth in the slalom. Overall, the Knights have been slightly better in the giant slalom as Edouard Brochu (fifth) and Aleksa Lalic (11th) finished high in the MacConnell Division standings. Brochu took seventh at the Eastern Regionals and Lalic was 10th, while Reed Martin followed up with a 14th place finish out of 79 competitors. Lalic was Clarkson's top skier in the slalom a few weeks ago at regionals, placing fifth while Brochu was ninth. During the regular season, Jackson Knobloch was a standout in the slalom, placing ninth in the division standings, but he did not finish at the regionals due to a fall.

The Women: Like the men, the Golden Knights' women have excelled in giant slalom races this year as both Ariana Welter and Elyse Donaghue won regular-season races for MacConnell Division teams. Welter won an even bigger prize at the USCSA Eastern Regionals, topping the giant slalom standings with a time of 1:46.40, and Donaghue took third in the same race. During the regular season, Welter (fifth), Hannah Goetz (sixth), and Donaghue (eighth) put up impressive results for giant slalom races. During the USCSA Eastern Regionals, Clarkson had four of the top finishers in the slalom, helping them to a second-place finish in the team results. Donaghue was sixth, Goetz, seventh, LilyAnn Fisher took 10th, and Welter was 11th.
