The Series: This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-0): Although the Golden Knights defense has been merely very good instead of great the last two games, the team still ranks in the top five nationally in scoring defense, allowing only five goals per game. Griffin Emerson is in the top five in NCAA Division III in both goals against average (4.75) and save percentage (.700). Clarkson's offense is diverse in that a number of players contribute the goals, but it is run by Robert Fox as he has a team-best 17 assists and has had a hand in nearly half of the team's goals (29 points on 65 goals).

Key Stats for Trinity (2-2): A year ago, the Bantams made the NCAA Tournament with a record of 8-7 in the regular season and advanced to the second round before being eliminated by 10th-ranked York. This season, Trinity has played in some tight games, with only one contest decided by more than two goals. Bo Page, last year's leading scorer (36-16-52) ranks second on the team in scoring with 10 points so far, trailing only Miles Harvey (7-6-13) who already has half of his output from 2025 (25 points). William Lavallee is strong on faceoffs, winning 63.9% with a team-best 30 groundballs.
