The last regular-season race awaits the Clarkson University Alpine Ski team and the remainder of the MacConnell Division as the Golden Knights and the rest of the league jockey for all-star honors and prepare for the championship season in the coming weeks.

The Event: New England College rejoined the MacConnell Division this season after a brief hiatus from the league and serves as hosts this weekend in New Hampshire with a slalom and giant slalom being held at Pats Peak and Waterville Valley Resort.

Clarkson Men: The Golden Knights have finished as the runner up in seven consecutive races among MacConnell Division teams after placing fourth in the first race, locking themselves into second place for the year. Clarkson has excelled in giant slalom races this year, with several skiers pushing their points thanks to those events. Gavin Ebert is currently in third place in the point standings having finished second, second, and fourth in the last three GS events and placing him third in those races while placing in a tie for seventh in the slalom races. Edouard Brouchu is eighth overall, but fifth in the GS (and ninth in the slalom) in the league. Despite a DNF on his roll from this past weekend, Aleksa Lalic is still 11th in GS events and 12th overall in the standings. Reed Martin is also 12th in the giant slalom events in the Mac Division standings and is 18th overall, trailing teammates Jackson Knobloch (13th) and Pedro Gonzalez (17th) in total points for the year.

Clarkson Women: Like the men, the Knights' women have also performed well in giant slalom races. In her last three GS events, Ariana Welter has two podiums, a first and a third, as well as a seventh in the third race, which puts her third in the GS point standings and sixth in the MacConnell Division overall. Hannah Goetz is eighth overall with three top-eight finishes in the last two weekends. Elyse Donaghue is 11th overall and fifth in the GS standings. In fact, Donaghue has scored 176 of her 227 total points in giant slalom events this campaign.
