The Series: The all-time series between Hobart and Clarkson dates back to 1930. After dropping the road contest, Clarkson won the matchup at Alumni last year, 53-49, breaking a three game losing streak in the head-to-head. Despite a 28-36 all-time record versus Skidmore, the Golden Knights have won the last four contests, including a 70-55 win in Potsdam and a 74-68 win in Saratoga Springs last year.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-7, 1-5 Liberty League): The Knights posted a season-best 10 steals in the 82-56 win at Bard last Saturday, while dishing out 20 assists, a second-best on the year. Nate Abernethy was recognized as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Monday, the third time he has been recognized this season. The freshman averaged 11.3 points and 9.3 rebounds over three games last week, including a 18 point, 11 rebound performance at Bard. Steve DeRegis rattled off 23 points and four assists versus the Raptors, the junior has scored 23 points in a game three times so far.

Key Stats for Hobart (10-3, 4-2 Liberty League): Before Tuesday, the Statesmen were in the midst of a four-game winning streak in the Liberty League but dropped an 85-88 decision at Ithaca, a team they had beaten by 20 in the reverse meeting back in December. An average of 81.9 points per game means Hobart holds the highest scoring average in the league. Sophomore Monty Nedd leads the team in scoring with 15.7 points per contest while adding 4.3 assists per game which is the second highest in the conference. Junior guard Alex Moesch is averaging 17.3 points over the last three games for the Statesmen, a four-point improvement on his season average.

The team combined five assists and 56 points, both season-lows, at the Engineers in a 56-76 loss. Jacob Gooden has also been recognized as the Rookie of the Week for the Liberty League three times this season, he and Abernethy account for six of the eight total awarded up to this point. The freshman averages 17.1 points per outing and has been held to fewer than 10 points in just one contest.
