On the road for the third straight weekend, the Clarkson University Baseball team looks to take a jump in the conference standings when the team takes on Hobart College in a three-game set.

The Series: Clarkson is 4-2 against the Statesmen since Hobart returned with a baseball squad in 2023 after nearly a few decades without one. The Statesmen took two of three against Clarkson a year ago, with one of the game requiring extra innings.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-8, 2-4 Liberty League): Junior catcher Joe Figliolino was 5-for-11 with four walks, three runs, and a pair of RBI in the series against Hobart a year ago, reaching base at least twice in all three games. Figliolino leads the Golden Knights with 13 walks this year and boasts an OPS north of 1100 thanks to a .507 on-base percentage and slugging percentage of .608. Teck Nash, who tossed seven innings of shutout ball against the Knights last year, also has 25 strikeouts against only four walks in 25 innings of work this year.
