The Series: The Knights host RIT on Thursday with a single-nine starting at 3:30 pm. The two teams will try to play two on Friday, beginning the scheduled doubleheader at 10:00 am. If rain doesn't allow for the completion of the doubleheader, another game could be played on Saturday. RIT swept the series a year ago and the two teams split back in 2023 at Jack Phillips Stadium. Since RIT joined the Liberty League in 2012, the two teams have met in the playoffs a few times as well, with Clarkson winning the last contest in 2022 by a score of 7-6.

Key Stats for Clarkson (11-10, 3-5 Liberty League): Although the last three games have been bullpen games since they were non-conference, Clarkson's pitching staff has started to iron out the rough spots. Sophomore reliever Nathan Hartley has been particularly effective as late, allowing only two hits in his last 6.2 innings of work, and the lefty has 22 strikeouts in 16.1 innings over seven appearances. The two innings leaders for Clarkson are Cole Riskin and Jacob Shirley. Riskin is allowing a .257 opponents average with 33 strikeouts in 27.1 innings while Shirley has also fanned 17 in 22.2 innings.

Key Stats for RIT (19-8, 8-4 Liberty League): The Tigers' pitching staff is averaging more than a strikeout per inning, the only team in the Liberty League to do so, fanning 252 in 230.2 innings. John Arnold has 57 strikeouts in 48.2 innings, Owen Fisher has 34 whiffs in 28 innings, and Luc Rising has 32 strikeouts in 33 innings with a 1.91 earned run average. RIT has a number or regulars hitting above .300, but the most notable one below that threshold is Jarin Moses. A Liberty League All-Star a year ago, Moses is batting .250, but has a .519 slugging percentage thanks to six home runs and 29 RBI.
