Clarkson is coming of it's 3rd straight weekend split, the Knights will look to gain valuable league points when they host 4th place Colgate and 7th place Cornell. Â
Heading into the weekend, the Knights sit in 3rd place in the ECAC with 24 points. Colgate has 23 league points and currently is in 4th place in the league standings. Cornell has 19 points and sits in 7th place.Â
Cornell's visit to Cheel is often a big game but will carry some extra meaning this year. The Big Red will have a familiar face behind the bench, as former Head Coach, Casey Jones is the Head Coach in waiting for Cornell. Legendary Coach, Mike Schafer is in his final season behind the bench for the Big Red and Jones will assume the Head Coaching duties in full next season. Â
