The Series: The Golden Knights split with Bard and Vassar the first time around, beating the Raptors by one after a last second shot fell short and falling to Vassar by 11 thanks to a strong second-half by the Brewers.

Key Stats for Clarkson (9-8, 5-5 Liberty League): Sophomore Braeden Burns has picked up his game since December's finals, averaging 21.0 points per game over the last eight contests to push his season average to 16.2 ppg. Part of the increased scoring output is a higher field goal percentage, but more impressively is Burns' ability to make shots from the perimeter. After making only four 3-pointers in the first nine games of the year, Burns has buried 18 from beyond the arc in the last eight. Senior Jack Dalgety has also played well recently, averaging 13.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, pushing in season averages to 11.0 points and 5.1 rebounds for 2024-25.

Key Stats for Vassar (11-6, 7-3 Liberty League): Sophomore Shea Fitzgerald leads the conference in scoring at 22.2 points per game, having finished in single digits only one all season. He has made more free throws (111) than any other player in the conference has even taken and he ranks fourth in NCAA Division III in makes. Joining Fitzgerald in the backcourt is Avery Lee, who also is among the league leaders in scoring at 16.9 ppg. Lee has been particularly successful in the last two contests, averaging 26.5 points in that short run. Sebastian Medina was a key part of Vassar's first win against the Knights, putting up a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Key Stats for Bard (9-8, 4-6 Liberty League): Although he ranks only third on the team in scoring, it was Sean Wilcox who enjoyed the most success in the first meeting against the Golden Knights. Wilcox averages 11.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest, but he posted 18 points and 11 rebounds three weeks ago. Lazaros Panagiotounis is the team's top scorer at 16.9 points per game, but he has shot below 30% from the 3-point arc. Rowan Heinze, the team's graduate student big man in the paint, is averaging 12.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
