The Series: The two teams have met only once before, back when the visitor's school was known as SUNYIT, in the 2006-07 season. Clarkson suffered a 96-84 defeat in that contest.

Key Stats for Clarkson (3-2): Steve DeRegis and Matthew Parent are hitting 3-pointers at a rate that would make NBA players proud. The team's offense has been all over the place through just five games, having scored as many as 85, but as little as 49. Clarkson has shared the ball over the last two contests, topping 20 assists in each of those victories.
