Women's Hockey

Clarkson heads to SLU for weekday game

The Golden Knights will head down Rt. 11 to face St. Lawrence in a non league contest on Wednesday at 11:00 am.  The game will be played during the day to continue the tradition started last year, when Cheel hosted over 3000 students from across the region.  Legendary Appleton Arena will play host to multiple schools, giving area youth the chance to experience the Route 11 Rivalry.

Clarkson swept the weekend with an overtime win against Union and a 2-0 win against RPI.  The sweep runs their record to 9-3-0, 3-1-0 in the ECAC.  These games on Wednesday and Saturday will be non ECAC games, so while they add to the rivalry and the national Pairwise ratings, they will not count the ECAC Standings.

The Knights come in on a 2 game winning streak vs SLU, including a 3-1 victory last year in the ECAC Semi-Finals.

The Knights will get Haley Winn back in the line up after she returned from her stint with Team USA at the US/Canada Rivalry Series.  Winn and the US, went 1-1-1 in the 3 games.

Wednesday's game will be live on B99.3 FM with Casey Ditzel on the call, also can be streamed on ESPN+, and will be seen live on SNY
