Playoff Scenarios: The Golden Knights can still potentially rise all the way to third place if St. Lawrence beats Hobart and Skidmore were to lose to Bard as long as RIT also lost its final game to Vassar, but Clarkson is really seeking simply to make the conference tournament. The Green and Gold will gain a spot with a win over Union on Saturday, but a tie or loss could also still have the Knights in the sixth spot. That all boils down to what Ithaca does. If the Bombers win and Clarkson ties or loses, Ithaca jumps over the Knights. If Ithaca ties and Clarkson loses, the two teams would be tied, but the Bombers hold the tie-breaker because they defeated the Knights in their meeting in October.

The Series: Union and Clarkson have played 40 times over the years and are equal with one another at 18-18-4. Clarkson's last win came during the 2019 season, as Union is 2-0-1 since then, including a 1-1 tie in 2023, a tie which kept the Knights out of the Liberty League playoffs.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-1-8, 2-1-5 Liberty League): Junior Carter Kladstrup is looking to wrap up a regular-season in which he could be setting some new program standards between the posts. Kladstrup leads the Liberty League in goals against average (0.52), save percentage (.890), and shutouts (8), all figures that rank him in the top 15 nationally. His goals against average is the second lowest in program history, behind only Riley McDonald's 0.37 in 2018, a season in which McDonald played just under 1000 minutes compared to Kladstrup's 1395 minutes. Kladstrup is also just the fifth Clarkson goalkeeper with eight shutouts in one year and one more would make him one of only three with nine in a season.

Key Stats for Union (5-8-5, 1-4-3 Liberty League): The Garnet Chargers have scored 20 goals overall in 2024, but the team has struggled to score in conference games with just four eluding the opposition. Owen Everett leads the team in scoring with nine points on four goals and an assist while Alexander Vital and Gio Capellino are right behind him with seven points (3-1-7). Capellino has been especially productive, considering that his seven points have come in just 204 total minutes on the pitch.
