The Series: The Golden Knights are 17-5 all-time against Bard College, but the teams have split the season series each of the past two seasons. Clarkson is up 25-19 all-time against Vassar College, though the Brewers have won four straight in the series, squeezing out those wins by a combined 17 points.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-2, 2-1 Liberty League): The Knights have averaged over 80 points per game this season, ranking second in the Liberty League. Grad student Ryan Miles-Ferguson is second in the conference in scoring at 18.9 points per game and topped 20 points for the fifth time on Tuesday, and is now within striking distance of 1000 career points. Miles-Ferguson is just 37 points shy of quadruple digits for his career. At the other end of the spectrum, freshman Braeden Burns has started his collegiate career strong, averaging 15.4 points per game, including a 28-point effort last time out. He has reached double digits in seven straight contests.

Key Stats for Bard (8-2, 3-0 Liberty League): The Raptors were chosen to finish 10th in the Liberty League in the coaches pre-season poll, but they have started off with three straight conference wins by a combined eight points. Elliot Harris leads the conference in 3-pointers with 36 and Lazaros Panagiotounis is second in the league with 26 makes from distance. Each is averaging better than 12 points per contest, as is Rowan Heinze. Though Bard averages less than 70 points per game, the team leads the conference in field goal percentage (48.5%). The Raptors do need to take care of the ball, however, as they have a deficit of 42 turnovers compared to their opponents.

Key Stats for Vassar (3-7, 1-2 Liberty League): Though the Brewers are currently four games under .500, a couple of tweaks could make for a quick turnaround in Poughkeepsie. Vassar has a deficit of 50 free throws compared to its opponents, as the team is shooting 64.4% from the line against a 72.7% success rate from the opposition. The Brewers also have turned the ball over 39 more times than their opponents. Vassar excels at defense on the perimeter, allowing just 28.7% of 3-pointers to be made (66 in 10 games). Shea Fitzgerald leads the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game, including 22 3-pointers.
