The Series: Ithaca's offense was finely tuned against Clarkson last year, averaging 95 points per game in a season sweep of the Golden Knights. Union also had its offense rolling with 86 points per contest against Clarkson, but could only muster a split as the Knights dropped 92 against the Garnet Chargers in the first meeting.

Key Stats for Clarkson (9-3, 3-2 Liberty League): Tight games tend to go Clarkson's way as the Knights are shooting 73.8% from the free throw line, the top figure in the Liberty League. Clarkson is also second in the conference in scoring at 80.2 points per game and second in 3-point field goals made per contest with 10 on target per game. Ryan Miles-Ferguson continues his standout season, as the grad student has scored 20 or more points in seven of the last eight games, averaging 22.75 points per contest in that stretch and 20.5 points per game for the season. He is shooting 49.4% from the floor and 46.5% from the 3-point arc.

Key Stats for Ithaca (8-3, 3-1 Liberty League): Logan Wendell is the only player in the Liberty League averaging more points than Clarkson's Ryan Miles-Ferguson, netting 20.6 points per game with 30 3-pointers and an 85.5% shooting percentage from the free throw line. He also finds his teammates to the tune of 3.6 assists per contest. Triston Wennersten (14.5 pig, 8.4 rpg) and Andrew Geschickter (9.8 ppg) also contribute heavily to the team's offense. Ithaca leads the league in scoring (82.8 ppg) and 3-pointers (11.1 per game), but the team's defense is head scratching. The Bombers allow opponents to score (76.9 ppg) on a high percentage (45.4%), but the team forces more turnovers than any other team in the league by a wide margin and has a plus-5.18 turnover margin per game.

Key Stats for Union (7-5, 2-4 Liberty League): The Garnet Chargers have had a streak season, opening the year with five wins and then losing five straight before picking up two much-needed conference wins in the last week. Union also scores at a high rate with 74.1 points per game, but the team is very balanced. Matthew Garside leads the team in scoring at 10.6 ppg in just over 20 minutes per contest, while Aren Cummings is also in double figures at 10.2 ppg, doing so in 22.8 minutes per game. Tanner Tedesco leads the team in minutes at 28.1 and posts averages of 9.8 points and 4.8 assists per game. Luke McGarrity is the team's top long-range threat, averaging 8.8 points per game in only 17 minutes per game, making 52.5% of his 3-pointers (21-for-40).
