Clarkson enjoyed the Holiday weekend with some dinner and an off weekend from game action. The Knights jump back into ECAC play as they host the Harvard Crimson and Dartmouth Big Green this weekend at Cheel. Clarkson sits in a tie for 6th place, just 1 point out of a tie for 2nd place, and has 2 to 3 games in hand over all the teams ahead of them in the standings.
The road trip to Yale and Brown netted 2 wins.
Ayrton Martino scored twice in a 2-1 over the Bulldogs and an overtime game winning goal from
Ryan Richardson to lift the Knights to a 3-2 win over Brown.
Austin Roden earned two wins and was named the MAC Goaltending ECAC Goalie of the Week.
Clarkson will face a young Harvard team that lost a lot of fire power from last season. Harvard sits at 1-3-3, but has a win at Cornell under it's belt. Clarkson is 60-62-12 all time against the Crimson.
The Knights will still be without
Anthony Romano and
Noah Beck tonight. The line of Gardner, Moberg, & Bargholtz started to really click in the game at Yale and look for that trio of big bodies to continue to develop.
