The Clarkson Men's Hockey team will look to put together a pair of wins as they head out for their first ECAC road trip of the year.
The Knights roll into Providence with a 4-5 record and a 1-1 ECAC mark. Last weekend, the Knights dropped Friday's game with RPI, but bounced back for one of their most complete performances of the season in a 4-1 win over Union.
Eric Ciccolini got his first two goals as a Golden Knight and
Austin Roden made 28 saves for his 3rd win of the season.
This weekend the Knights will welcome Oliver Moburg to the line up. The freshman from Stockholm, Sweden has been cleared to play by the NCAA after sitting out 9 games based on participation with his club team back home in Sweden, before the came to the USHL. Moburg will center fellow first year forward,
Daimon Gardner and the Grad Student
Eric Ciccolini. Moburg, listed at 6'3 will help form a good size line with Gardner (6'5") and Ciccolini (6')
The Knights will be with out the services of
Noah Beck,
Anthony Romano,
Emmett Croteau, and
Brady Egan, who are all still physically unavailable to play.
Brown comes into the game 2-4 and 1-4 in ECAC play. They were swept last weekend at Princeton and Quinnipiac. Brown's two wins have come against Stonehill, a team that the Knights will host in December, and a ECAC win over Colgate. Clarkson is 8-0-2 (1 tie was a shoot out loss) in their last 10 games with Brown, which includes a 5-1 win over Bruno in the ECAC play in game on March 4th at Cheel.
