The Clarkson Men's Hockey team fought back last night to force the issue with Penn St. but fell 4-2, so they will look to get their first home win of the season tonight vs the University of Vermont at Cheel Arena.  

Clarkson got goals from Ellis Rickwood and Ryan Taylor to get them within a goal and were able to generate several chances with the extra attacker, but a tipped pass led to Penn St. getting the empty net goal to seal the 4-2 win.

UVM was able to get their first win of the season when they beat St. Lawrence last night 3-1 at Appleton.

Clarkson is still without their top two returning point producers from last season.  Both Martino and Gosselin skated this week, but will not be in the lineup tonight.  Coach Jones has highlighted the fact that these players missing from the lineup allows the team to get some other players key minutes and will help develop the depth of the team going into ECAC play.
