On the road for the final time in Liberty League play this fall, the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team will be playing its lone back-to-back of 2023 as the Golden Knights head down state to take on Bard College and Vassar College this weekend.

The Series: The Golden Knights are 10-1 all-time against the Raptors, having lost to Bard only in 2014. Clarkson has outscored Bard 28-6 in 11 games. Versus Vassar, the Brewers have gotten the better of Clarkson in 22 all-time meetings, with the Knights winning six times and tying five times. Clarkson's last win against Vassar came in 2018, though the two teams tied 1-1 in 2022.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-4-0, 2-3-0 Liberty League): This weekend's games could go a long way in regards to playoff spots and seedings, as the Knights and Brewers are fifth and sixth in the standings currently. Nolan Grady has nine points to lead Clarkson, with three goals coming in conference games, while Jonathan Dereka and Eric McKean have contributed seven points apiece (3-1-7). Tayte Wong picked up his second goal of the season on Saturday and is now fourth on the squad in scoring with six points (2-2-6).

Key Stats for Bard (5-3-2, 0-3-2 Liberty League): The highest scoring team in the Liberty League with 28 goals, the Raptors have slowed down since conference play began, having been outscored 10-3 in five games. Sam Gerber is third in the conference in scoring with 14 points (6-2-14), but just one goal has come in five league games. Gavin Hersey has played 836 minutes between the posts for the Raptors, recording a 1.292 goals against average.

Key Stats for Vassar (5-3-4, 1-1-2 Liberty League): The Brewers are also a capable team on offense, having produced 26 goals this year, including two in the last game to tie conference-leader Hobart. Owen Fauth leads the league in scoring with 18 points (6-6-18) and Duncan Keker has also contributed six goals. Vasilis Ganasoulis is one of four Vassar goalkeepers to see time in net, though he has played nine of the team's 12 contests and recorded a 1.11 goals against average with 26 saves over 810 minutes.
