The Series: The Green and Gold have dominated the all-time series, with 17 wins in 19 games dating back to 2001. However, Vassar did win games by a single goal in both 2016 and 2017, while the last meeting was a one-goal victory for the Knights (13-12) in 2019.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-4): Graduate student Conor Bartlett has scored at least one goal in three matchups against the Brewers, including a four-point effort with two goals and two assists in 2019. He leads the team in scoring in 2021 with 26 points on 11 goals and 15 assists and is now just 13 points shy of 200 for his career, which puts him in sixth all-time at Clarkson, only six points shy of Dan Panas (193). Fellow grad student Pierce Currie was a key figure in Clarkson's last win over Vassar, scoring four goals, and he once again leads the team in goals this year with 16. The Knights' offense has plenty of options as five different players have reached double figures in goals through six games. Joining Bartlett and Currie with 10 or more goals are Sebastian Geiger (13), Bryan Penney (12), and Billy Bergan (10).

Key Stats for Vassar (0-1): The Brewers have a backlogged league schedule, playing six games 18 days with never more than a four-day gap between contests, but Wednesday's tilt will be their first since March 27th. Vassar returns most of its top players from a season ago, including junior Logan Hyde, who tied for the team lead in points in 2020 (12-10-22). Junior Connor Deehan (5-11-16) and senior Spencer Duryee (8-4-12) also contributed heavily to the team's offense a year ago, while sophomore James Nicholas led the team in groundballs (19) and Stefan Fleps was the team leader in caused turnovers (9) in 2020.
