What looked like an abbreviated season is slowly extending into late March as the Clarkson University Swimming & Diving team will compete in a dual meet against Skidmore College on Saturday and Sunday.

The Golden Knights' men will head to Saratoga Springs on Saturday and then the Clarkson women will make the return trip on Sunday. Both days' events will begin at 1:00 pm.

Order of Events: 200 medley relay, 1000 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, 50 freestyle, 1-meter diving, 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, 400 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 3-meter diving, 200 individual medley, 200 freestyle relay.

Clarkson's Men: Although the Golden Knights have no competed against Skidmore in a dual meet in recent years, a gauge can still somewhat be set from last year's Liberty League Championships, where the Knights recorded 926.5 points against Skidmore's 430 points. However, Clarkson graduated a significant portion of its scorers from last season. Angus McLean has won at least one event in two outings this year, taking first in the 200 freestyle in a virtual meet back in November and winning the 400 freestyle against Nazareth. Solomon Rosner has won the 50 freestyle in both of his starts this year, both virtually and in person. Tim Jordan (100 backstroke), Nicholas Miller (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle), and Colin Urmaza (200 breaststroke) took second in their respective event versus Nazareth on March 6th.

Clarkson's Women: Just like the men, the Golden Knights' women have not swam in a dual meet against Skidmore for quite some time, but the conference championships point to some level of competitiveness. The two squads were fairly tight in the standings, with Skidmore scoring 623 points and Clarkson tallying 514 points. All conversations regarding Clarkson's women swimmers starts with junior Paige Fronczak, who took first at the Liberty League Championships a season ago in the 100 freestyle. Classmate Taylor Lee earned first-place points in the 200 individual medley last week, while freshman Bella Triolet won the 200 backstroke against Nazareth.
