The Series vs. RIT: Since the Tigers joined the Liberty League, Clarkson has won 13 of the 17 meetings. However, RIT won a 90-85 offensive slugfest two weeks ago and is looking for its first sweep since joining the conference in 2011-12.

The Series vs. Hobart: Clarkson's last win against the Statesmen came in the Liberty League playoffs in 2015. The Statesmen have won all nine meetings since and are 80-53 all-time against Clarkson.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-13, 4-8 Liberty League): Senior point guard Barryn Shark is second by a slim margin in assists per game in the Liberty League, averaging 4.4 dimes a game. Shark has topped six assists in a game on seven different occasions this year and is 17 short of 100 this year. His most frequent targets, Chris Hulbert and Matt Higgins, rank fourth and 10th in points per game, respectively, in the conference. Hulbert's 58 3-pointers are second most in the league while Higgins is sixth in that category.

Key Stats for RIT (6-13, 3-9 Liberty League): Sophomore Curtis Nesbit had a standout performance in the first meeting between the Tigers and Knights, hitting six 3-pointers in nine tries for a team-best 24 points, his highest scoring performance in conference games this year. Freshman Kevin Ryan also had his best game of the season against the Knights, scoring 21 points with nine rebounds in just 24 minutes. He averages 7.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, so his effort was either an outlier or something that coach Bob McVean chose to utilize use specifically against Clarkson.

Key Stats for Hobart (16-3, 10-2 Liberty League): One of the better defenses in the country, ranking seventh nationally in points allowed per game (61.9 ppg) while ranking second in field goal defense (36.2%) and first in 3-point field goal defense (26.8%). Four players average double figures and two have stood out as of late. Tucker Lescoe leads the team with 13.9 points per game, but he is averaging 19.5 points per contest over the last four outings, while Jackson Meshanic's 12.2 ppg are third on the team. Meshanic is averaging 20.3 ppg over his last four, shooting 70.8% from the floor in that stretch.
