Knights back in action after OT win

Knights finsh up first back to back weekend

Clarkson Men's Hockey Team will face off again against Mercyhurst today at 4:00 pm at the Mercyhurst Ice Arena. This will be the first back to back set of games in what has been a unique season.

The Golden Knights won in exciting fashion last night with an Overtime power play goal by Sr. Connor McCarthy. The Knights gave up a goal late, but with the extra attacker Anthony Callin was able to tie the game. Then in the new OT format of 3v3 the Knights controlled the play and forced a power play 2 minutes into the OT.

Charlie Campbell scored his first career goal in the second period and his brother Alex got an assist on the game tying goal. Mathieu Gosselin got the lone first period goal 17 seconds after Mercyhurst took a 1-0 lead.

Sr. Netminder, Kris Oldham made 24 saves to gain his 3 win of the season.
