Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: The Golden Knights hold a narrow 9-8 edge in the all-time series thanks to two straight one-goal wins over the Cardinals. Conor Bartlett scored in double overtime last season to give the Knights a 10-9 victory over Plattsburgh State.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-0): The Golden Knights have scored 36 goals in their first two games this year, the most tallies in the first two contests since 1991. Fellow junior Pierce Currie is tied with Bartlett with nine points (six goals, three assists) and classmate Evan Burgett is third on the team with seven points (3-4-7). Although the Knights' offensive start is certainly notable, the numbers posted by Kevin Dyckman in the Clarkson crease is equally impressive with a 3.87 goals against average and .647 save percentage in 93 minutes of work. The defense in front of Dyckman has posted solid stats through the first two games, with junior Liam St. Croix leading the team with seven groundballs and Thomas Stanton and Trevor Borchardt tossing in four caused turnovers. Borchardt enjoyed a solid showing against Plattsburgh last year, causing four turnovers and scooping up four groundballs.
