The Big Red lead the rivalry against the Knights 66-55-17, but only hold a 4-3-3 advantage in the last 10 games.  The series is tied 2-2-1 in the last five meetings. Clarkson is unbeaten against the Big Red in their last five regular-season games (2-0-3), including a pair of shutouts last season (4-0 in Ithaca, 0-0 in Potsdam). Cornell's last win in the series came in the quarterfinal round of the 2017 ECAC Hockey playoffs when the Big Red edged the Knights 2-1 in the best of three-game series (2-6, 2-1, 2-1) on March 10-12 in Ithaca. Cornell's last regular-season win over Clarkson was on December 5, 2015 at Lynah Rink.
• Clarkson is 3-1-1 against Colgate over their last five meetings to improve its record against the Raiders to 86-53-18 in the all-time series, which began during the 1927-28 campaign. Scouting Cornell
Right with Clarkson in the national polls with 9th and 10th-place rankings, Cornell owns a 13-6-2 overall record and sits atop the highly competitive ECAC Hockey standings with a 9-3-2 league mark, two points ahead of the Golden Knights. The Big Red are coming off a three-point weekend in NY's Capital District, shutting out Union 4-0 in Schenectady and tying RPI 1-1 in Troy. Cornell has gone 8-2-1 since December 1. The only loss during that span was a 3-2 overtime setback to Colgate at Lynah Rink on January 26. The Big Red are 7-4 in Ithaca this season.

Scouting Colgate
Colgate enters the weekend looking to find some consistency in the win column. The Raiders, who host St. Lawrence on Friday prior to facing the Knights, own a 7-17-2 overall record and a 10th-place 4-8-2 ECAC Hockey mark. After opening the New Year with an impressive sweep on the road over Quinnipiac (5-4ot) and Princeton (4-3) on January 4-5, Colgate has struggled with just one victory (3-2 in overtime at Cornell on January 26) in its last eight outings. This past weekend, the Raiders lost at RPI (3-1) and Union (6-0). Colgate is 3-9-1 at Class of 1965 Arena.
