The Series vs. Bard: The Golden Knights are 13-2 all-time against the Raptors, including a four-point win in early January. The last eight contests between the two teams have been decided by single digits.

The Series vs. Vassar: Clarkson leads the all-time matchup against Vassar with 23 wins in 37 games. Clarkson led for all but the first basket of the game in early January thanks to a 48-point first half, eventually winning by eight.

Key Stats for Clarkson (3-12, 2-6 Liberty League): Although the Knights lead the Liberty League in3-pointers made, the percentage for the Green and Gold has generally not been up to the standards of last season. That was not the case in the first meetings against Vassar and Bard earlier this year as Clarkson shot 29-for-70 (41.4%) from the 3-point line over that first weekend in January. Clarkson was 14-for-34 against Vassar and then 15-for-36 against the Raptors. Junior Matt Higgins, who leads the team in scoring at 13.7 points per game, scored 48 points over that weekend. He was joined by the strong shooting from Jason Phelps (13.0 ppg) and Chris Hulbert (16.0 ppg) from January 4-5.

Key Stats for Bard (9-7, 5-4 Liberty League): Bard owns the second-highest scoring offense in the Liberty League (80.2 ppg) and ranks first in offensive rebounds at 13.8 rpg. Four players average double figures for the Raptors, including team-leader Alijah Rue (17.9 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 4.6 apg), who scored 25 points in the first meeting against Clarkson. Justyn Rogers averages 15.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, but over his last three contests he has been even better with 20.3 points and 9.7 boards per contest. Armando Dunn (14.5 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 57.8% FG) and David Runcie (14.0 ppg) also contribute considerably to the team's success.

Key Stats for Vassar (7-10, 3-7 Liberty League): The big men for Vassar are tough for virtually all opponents as the combination of Paul Grinde and Zack Bromfeld helps the Brewers shoot 44.6% from the floor. Grinde ranks third in the league in field goal percentage at 55.2%, and Bromfeld would lead the league in shooting percentage (64.8%) if he had just two more makes. Grinde scores 14.8 points per game to go along with 6.8 rebounds while Bromfeld is averaging 11.7 points and 6.2 boards per game. Senior guard Alex Seff is the team's top scorer overall with 15.3 points per game.
