Coming off a loss to top-ranked RIT, the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse looks to log a win in conference play this weekend as the Golden Knights head to face Liberty League foe Skidmore College on Saturday afternoon.

Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: The Golden Knights hold a narrow 13-11 edge in the all-time series thanks to three straight wins over the Thoroughbreds. Clarkson claimed a 19-13 win over Skidmore last season, the most goals the Knights have ever scored versus the Thoroughbreds.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-1, 0-1 Liberty League): Sophomore Ryan Gabriel was busy during last year's game against the Thoroughbreds, winning 21 of the 34 faceoffs and scooping up 13 groundballs. That figure almost matches how many groundballs Gabriel has picked up in 2018 (15) thus far. Classmate Conor Bartlett also enjoyed a nice game against Skidmore last season, scoring five points on two goals and three assists. Bartlett leads the team in scoring this year with 10 points, notching five goals and five assists in three games. Junior Shane Kilday is second on the team in overall scoring with eight points and leads the team in goals with six. Senior midfielder Mark Uhlig is contributing in all facets of the game, ranking third on the squad in points (six), second in groundballs (eight) and second in caused turnovers (five).

Key Stats for Skidmore (3-3, 0-1 Liberty League): The Thoroughbreds have already punched through six of their 16-game regular-season schedule in mid-March, making for some gaudier statistics. Both Eric Megnia (15) and Brendan Halloran (14) have more goals than any Clarkson player has points. Megnia has 21 points on 15 goals and six assists. Cody Legeza also has produced 16 points on 10 goals and six assists. Alex Miller is the team's busiest defender, contributing an impressive 20 caused turnovers and 42 groundballs, while faceoff specialist Ryan Warnock is second on the team with 25 groundballs. Alex Towey has caused nine turnovers with 21 groundballs.
