Live Stats/Live Video – at St. Lawrence University

The Series: Little went right for St. Lawrence in the first meeting against the Golden Knights, as Clarkson shot 14-for-29 from beyond the 3-point arc. Meanwhile, the Saints hit just 28.3% of their shots from the field and went just 5-for-28 from the 3-point line. The 28-point win by Clarkson marked the first time that the two teams were separated by more than 10 points in the last three seasons. Clarkson sophomore Matt Higgins had 21 points and Gary Hanley produced a double-double for the Knights as no starter played more than 29 minutes in the first meeting against St. Lawrence.

Key Stats for Clarkson (10-12, 6-9 Liberty League): Tied for the league lead in assists per game with 4.6 per contest, junior guard Liam Ellis has found his teammates for baskets at least four times in eight of the last nine games. Ellis is also contributing 16.0 points per contest (eighth in the Liberty League) while shooting 82.6% from the free throw line. Sophomore Matt Higgins (18.0 ppg) and Ellis are one of only two sets of teammates that rank in the top eight in the league in scoring.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (5-17, 3-12 Liberty League): Besides the injured Riley Naclerio, four Saints are averaging double figures in scoring. Ben Crawford leads the team in both points (16.9 ppg) and rebounds 910.2 rpg), producing nine double-doubles in 15 conference games. Pierre Coffy (12.0 ppg) and Dom DeRegis (11.8 ppg) have also upped their output since Naclerio went down, but it is junior center Chris Miner who has seen the biggest bump recently. Miner (10.8 ppg) is shooting 26-for-47 (55.3%) over his last four contests, scoring 18 points per game during that stretch.
