FRITJOFSON RECORDS NINTH DOUBLE FIGURE GAME IN LOSS AT WILLIAM SMITH

Geneva, NY - Senior guard Erika Fritjofson (East Barre, VT) scored a game-high 15 points with a solid second half, but her performance could not stop the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team from dropping a 67-36 decision to William Smith on Saturday afternoon.

Clarkson fell to 0-7 in the Liberty League and 4-14 overall while first-place William Smith moved to 13-4 overall and 6-1 in the conference. The Golden Knights ended a five-game road trip on Saturday and host Vassar and Rensselaer this weekend at Alumni Gym.

Fritjofson's 15 points marked the ninth time this season she has reached double figures this season and the sixth time in the last nine games. She moved into 15th place among Clarkson's all time leading scorers. Sarah Wesner (Sidney, NY) added 5 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals for the Knights and Adrienne Juby (Cold Spring, NY) added seven points on 3-for-4 shooting in just 14 minutes of play.

Pria Young scored 13 points to lead the Herons and Stephanie Czajkowski added 12 points. The William Smith starting frontcourt combined to shoot 14-for-18 from the floor for 29 points.
