VITALLO SCORES 20 FOR THIRD TIME IN FOUR GAMES, KNIGHTS FALL TO SKIDMORE

Saratoga Springs, NY - Russ Vitallo (Dracut, MA) produced a 20-point effort for the third time in 11 days, but the Clarkson University Men's Basketball team dropped a 74-61 Liberty League decision to Skidmore College Friday night.

The Golden Knights, who fell to 7-17 overall and 3-10 in the conference, close out the regular season tomorrow at Union. Skidmore improved to 15-7 and 9-4.

Vitallo shot just 6-for-19 from the floor, but made eight of his nine free throw attempts to score a team-high 20 points. He also grabbed eight rebounds. Sophomore forward Jon Youngmann shot 5-for-10 from the floor for 14 points and freshman Kevin Bolduc (Auburn, NH) added 11 points.

Dana Martin scored 32 points to lead the Thoroughbreds and Cortlandt Toczlowski added 12 points.
